Short Bio of Carolyn Racklyeft
Carolyn Racklyeft, Director of Local Programs, has been on staff at World Medical Relief for the past 30 years. She began as a volunteer in the office acknowledging in-kind and monetary donations. As a volunteer, she soon realized the magnitude of aid this nonprofit was providing all over the world and knew she wanted to be a part of it.
She was delighted when she was offered a staff position overseeing the local programs that were established. Carolyn now manages the Affordable Prescriptions Program, the Durable Medical Program, the Local Medical Supply Program and daily supplies of diapers, bedpads, as well as blankets and hygiene kits for homeless shelters. She also coordinates the Volunteer Program at WMR which she says is the "backbone of the organization". If you have time to spare, call Carolyn!
