Diabetes Program

Diabetes is a type of metabolic disorder that is estimated to afflict over 30 million people across the United States.

Patients with diabetes must take action to change their diet and lifestyle in addition to taking medications in the correct amounts from their doctor. Without detailed plans, it can be very difficult to stay on top of diabetes.

Luckily, World Medical Relief has your back. You can enroll in our 6 months, 6 module diabetes education program that will give you all of the tools you need to help control your diabetes.

Who is the program for?

This program is for anyone diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

What does the program offer?

Over the six months of the course, participants will learn about diabetic medications and equipment, proper diet, exercise routines, diabetic foot/eye care, and living a full life with diabetes. Participants will experience an interactive learning environment with pictures, videos, handouts, and regular meetings with the diabetes coordinator.

This program also offers a wealth of community resources that can help you with low to no cost diabetic supplies, medications, support groups, clinical help, and durable medical equipment.

We also offer goal-setting assistance, and how you can achieve your goals with the help of the Diabetes Coordinator via phone call, email, or in-person meetings. Either way, you can complete the course on your own time, and our Diabetes Coordinator will check in with you before moving on to your next goal.
