Medical Supply Controller 2

 

World Medical Relief is looking for a full-time Medical Supply Inventory Controller to help manage the medical supply packaging area. The Controller must be very detail oriented, have a strong work-ethic, and be able to quickly learn the processes needed in the packaging area.

Job Duties​

• Responsible to set up empty gaylords before and after packaging

• Responsible to pack gaylords in the packing area

• Responsible to pack unexpired medical supplies acceptable to the country where they are being shipped to

• Responsible to inform Manager of International Programs when empty gaylords reaches 20 so that more can be ordered

• Responsible to lead volunteers in Transporter 2 roles

• Keep your area of responsibility clean and organized

• Operate pallet jack to move gaylords around

• Contingency Plan: work toward becoming familiar with the duties of Medical Supply Controller 1 so Controller 2 can switch with Controller 1 when needed

• Other duties as assigned from manager

 

 

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED

• Knowledge of medical supplies with 1 year of experience in a medical atmosphere

• Able to stand majority of day and lift boxes up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work with all ages of volunteers (including young teens, students, and older people) for training and education purposes

• Very detailed oriented

• You must be able to work on Saturday within a 40-hour week. If you work Saturday, you are allowed to take time off Monday morning.
