Medical Supply Inventory Control Specialist

 

World Medical Relief is looking for a full-time Medical Supply Inventory Control Specialist to help manage the medical supply packaging area. The Controller must be very detail oriented, have a strong work-ethic, and be able to quickly learn the processes needed in the packaging area.

Job Duties​

  • Set up empty gaylords before and after packaging

  • Pack gaylords in the packing area

  • Pack unexpired medical supplies for the country where they are being shipped to

  • Inform Manager of International Programs when empty gaylords reaches 20 so that more can be ordered

  • Lead volunteers in supply packaging roles

  • Keep your area of responsibility clean and organized

  • Operate pallet jack to move gaylords around

  • Work toward becoming familiar with all the duties in the medical supply sorting area

  • Other duties as assigned from manager

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED

  • Knowledge of medical supplies with 1 year of experience in a medical atmosphere

  • Able to stand majority of day and lift boxes up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to work with all ages of volunteers (including young teens, students, and older people) for training and education purposes

  • Very detailed oriented

  • You must be able to work on Saturday morning within a 40-hour week. If you work Saturday, you are allowed to take time off Monday morning.

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
